Thanks for reaching out. I do not think there would be a greater risk of damaging your hair with less teeth on the hair straightener brush; but having said that I would try and reach out to the retailer/manufacturer and check to see if they can offer a replacement product.

Say if you don’t have curly hair and you travel a lot the brush would be for you but if you have thick curly hair and you don’t take your straightening tools out of the house you would choose flat iron etc.
