Kitchen faucets are small yet fiddly objects that need to be built to exacting standards. Unfortunately, some components can fail due to the exacting specifications and when they do this can stop the entire unit from functioning. This is why we try to only list extremely high-quality products with excellent customer service – this is, of course, no guarantee that they will last forever.

We try to be very clear in the reviews (details in the blue boxes, sections warranty and “A note about the XXX production model.”) about the warranty and where the product is manufactured – to provide some assurance.

If you are truly frustrated with the Moen brand all I can suggest is you try and get a refund from Moen and then consider a commercial style model for your kitchen such as the “Kraus KPF-1602 Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Commercial Style”. You will pay more, but these commercial models are designed to handle significant “punishment”.

My main concern when buying a faucet for kitchen or bathroom is quality, how long will they last! Cost isn’t a concern I need a faucet that will last without issues! Moen has a great name and are recommended by most company’s, however they haven’t lasted a year in our kitchen! Sure Moen will replace it if it’s defective or send you parts if needed but how’s going to pay the Plummer to do the install or repair? We’re senior citizens on a budget, unable to do the work that was once something we were capable of doing. Even if we could you can’t go out and buy parts to fix a Moen faucet at the local hardware store, so you wait for delivery! Have a call into Moen this morning, last kitchen faucet lasted 8 months, this is the second replacement!

I like the way you explained details about the different brands of faucets. You just added simple explanation which i like most. The band names you’ve added in your reviews are the best in this business and YUMING LIU you are right about “the origin of product manufacturing” . I just want to add the Brand Names like Delta, Moen, Kraus are the best manufacturer now these days. So you can trust them without second thought- just saying.

You must state origin of product manufacturing as one of the primary piece of information.
Origin of manufacturing is the single most important indicator of product quality and reliability.
